A late try from Danny Brough secured a narrow 22-16 win over Hull for Huddersfield Giants in the Super League this afternoon.
Chris Green gave the home side an early lead with a third-minute try, but Huddersfield responded, keeping possession for much of the first half, with Joe Wardle and Ukuma Ta'ai helping them edge ahead.
Kirk Yeaman kept Hull in the game, finding the try line just before half time to leave his team just two points behind the visitors.
Jermaine McGillvary helped increase the Giants lead early in the second half, but Brough missed the kick, allowing a converted try from Mark O'Meley to level the scores seven minutes later.
However, the Giants were able to up the pace, finding a gap in the Hull defence to send Brough over the line in the 74th minute, restoring Huddersfield's lead.
