Rob Burrow has joked that he feels like a "big kid" ahead of making his Leeds Rhinos comeback in Friday's Super League clash with Hull Kingston Rovers.
The hooker has missed some three months of the season after sustaining a broken collarbone in the Tetley's Challenge Cup victory over St Helens back in April.
Now, the 31-year-old is fighting fit ahead of tomorrow's encounter with Hull KR and Burrows says that he is excited to end what was a "really, really frustrating" period.
"It's great [to be back]," he told Sky Sports News. "No one wants to be out injured for any length of time. It's hard.
"To watch 10 games and you not be part of it is really, really frustrating. At the same time I've been like a big kid this week.
"It's just to be on the pitch doing what everyone else is doing rather than your rehab and your own thing. It's a pretty lonely place when you're out injured so it's good to be back. It's going to be good to get back on the pitch."
Tomorrow's clash kicks off at 8pm.
