Leeds Rhinos captain Kevin Sinfield has expressed his relief following the team's victory in the Challenge Cup final.
The Rhinos had lost their previous six finals in the competition before beating Castleford Tigers 23-10 at Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
"We've been [in the final] a few times obviously and come away with second prize so [it is a relief] to finally get over the line," Sinfield is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We were really relaxed about this one and it's not been a crusade at all, we wanted to win it for the right reasons and it just shows sometimes that you have to persevere to come through."
Their triumph in the final saw Leeds lift the trophy for the 13th time overall.
