Salford Red Devils have confirmed that head coach Iestyn Harris has left the club by mutual consent.
The 39-year-old, who took charge at the AJ Bell Stadium in 2014, has officially been on sick leave since June.
However, it has been decided by all concerned that rather than return to his role, Harris should now move on.
"We are pleased to have been able to come to an amicable arrangement with Iestyn Harris so both parties can now move forward. We wish Iestyn all the best in his future career within the game and thank him for his efforts," chief executive Martin Vickers told the club's official website.
In Harris's absence, his assistant Ian Watson had been the acting head coach.
