Huddersfield Giants have scrapped to an ugly 19-0 win away at Salford Red Devils.
The Giants made a fast start and took the lead after just seven minutes as a high kick from Danny Brough was caught and touched down by Leroy Cudjoe.
Brough was in fine kicking form all night and he set up the second only eight minutes later, as a long boot forward was latched on to by Jamie Ellis and he confidently put the ball down.
Salford managed to restrict the visitors in the final third, but Brough still found a drop goal before half time.
In the second period, the home supporters became frustrated as Huddersfield dominated, and they wrapped the game up through a scrambling Kyle Wood.
The Red Devils thought they had got on the scoresheet late on but Mason Caton-Brown had a try ruled out for a push on a defensive player.
