A strong second-half performance helped St Helens to a 52-10 win over Salford City Reds in the Super League this evening.
Jordan Turner and Willie Manu scored tries in the first half to help Saints to a 12-0 lead, but Martin Gleeson added a score for Salford to leave the home side just eight points down at the break.
The hosts started the second period well, sending Jodie Broughton over the line for their second try of the match, but three tries in less than five minutes from Turner, Paul Wellens and Jonny Lomax helped the visitors to a commanding lead.
The Saints' dominance continued late into the game, as Anthony Laffranchi, Josh Jones and Francis Meli added their names to the scoreboard.
The result leaves St Helens seventh in the Super League table.
