Salford Red Devils scored a try and a penalty in the closing stages to clinch a 40-40 draw with Catalans Dragons in the Super League this evening.
The visitors dominated the opening 20 minutes, scoring four early tries as they raced into a commanding lead, with Josh Griffin and Junior Sa'u among those crossing the line.
Ben Pomeroy added two tries before the break for the hosts, though, while Zeb Taia also went over, leaving Catalans just four points adrift at half time.
Rangi Chase reestablished a lead for Salford, but the Dragons started to control the ball and added four tries in 20 minutes to edge in front for the first time.
Cory Patterson added his second of the afternoon late on the give the Red Devils hope, and they leveled the scores in the last minute when Josh Griffin added a penalty.
The draw keeps Catalans third in the table, while Salford are up to eighth.
