Kyle Amor has insisted that his decision to join St Helens has been fully justified after winning the League Leaders' Shield and reaching the Grand Final.
The 27-year-old joined the Saints from Wakefield Trinity Wildcats last year on a four-year deal.
Amor is now preparing for the challenge of taking on rivals Wigan Warriors at Old Trafford on Saturday, as he looks to round off his debut campaign at Langtree Park in style.
"Grand Final week is all good fun," he told Sky Sports News. "This is something I have never done before and I'm just going to enjoy it all.
"We've had a walk around the stadium to familiarise ourselves with the surroundings. It's an amazing ground. Standing in the middle of the pitch and looking around was just crackers.
"I knew coming to this club would give me a greater chance of winning trophies and playing in the big games like these. To win a League Leaders' Shield and now be walking out in front of thousands at the Grand Final in my first season is crazy."
Saturday's match at Old Trafford gets underway at 6pm.
