St Helens head coach Kieron Cunningham has suggested that his side can finish the season on a high if they concentrate on their performance levels.
The defending champions have struggled so far in the Super 8s series, but claimed their first victory since July against Leeds Rhinos on Friday.
"I don't wanna to look too far ahead at what's around the corner or what we can achieve, and where we can go with this," Cunningham told Sky Sports News.
"What I wanna do is concentrate on us and concentrate on our performance, just like we did last week and the week before to some extent.
"I wanna improve in where I think we can improve, and I want us to be a bit more complete as a team, and if we do that then we're not gonna be far short."
St Helens face Castleford Tigers on Thursday, where a victory would secure a place in the playoffs.
