Hull fought back late in their match against St Helens to take a draw in the Super League this evening.
It was the away side that scored first, Jason Crookes claiming a try in the fourth minute, but a dominant spell from St Helens saw the hosts take a 16-12 at half time.
A well-balanced start to the second half saw Josh Jones help St Helens extend their advantage shortly after the restart, but Tom Briscoe pegged it back five minutes later for Hull.
Saints started to get the better of the possession, but too many penalties helped keep the visitors in the game.
Hull rallied for a strong finish to the match, Richard Whiting adding a try late on to level the scores.
The visitors attempted a drop goal from 45 yards out in the final seconds, but the effort was off target, resulting in the sides sharing the spoils.
