Sam Tomkins produced good form with both his hands and feet to help Wigan Warriors record a 52-10 win over the Wakefield Wildcats this afternoon.
The match started brightly for the home side when Peter Fox ran in the first try of the match with just three minutes on the clock.
However, the game soon swung in Wigan's favour thanks to two tries from Tomkins and one apiece by Gareth Hock and George Carmon. Tomkins also managed to convert three of the four drop goals to put his side in command at the interval.
A brace from Iain Thornley added further to the Wigan score, while Carmont and Harrison Hansen contributed a try each. Tomkins also got his name among the scorers again with a drop goal.
The half-back completed a hat-trick of tries in the closing stages, as did Carmont as Wigan went even further in front.
Ben Cockayne claimed a late consolation try for the home team, which was converted by Paul Sykes.
