Warrington coach Tony Smith denies that his side were complacent after they suffered a scare in Sunday's victory at Castelford.

Warrington Wolves coach Tony Smith has insisted that his side were not complacent as they were pushed all the way by Castelford Tigers in Sunday's victory at the PROBIZ Coliseum.

The Wolves had found themselves 34-0 in front before the hosts notched up 26 points without reply.

However, a late score from Stefan Ratchford sealed the 40-26 triumph.

"I don't think there was any complacency out there, more momentum of games, and they started to get their share of the ball in the second half," said Smith.

"I'm okay with my boys; I've just told them that. We've had a rough couple of weeks, both physically and mentally.

"I'm pleased with the victory, and we'll go and review the game like we normally do, and try to reproduce the things we've done well today."

The win has lifted Warrington up to second in the Super League table, three points behind leaders Wigan Warriors.
