Warrington Wolves came from behind late on to beat top-of-the-table Wigan Warriors in the Super League this evening.
The home side made a strong start to the match, with first-half tries from Joel Monaghan and Ben Westwood, but efforts from Sam Tomkins and Anthony Gelling helped Wigan take the lead shortly after the re-start.
Wolves fought hard to get back into the tie and edged back in front thanks to a Mickey Higham try with six minutes left to play.
Josh Charnley stopped Warrington from adding a potentially game-winning try in the 76th minute, but Chris Hill was able to seal the result just moments later, with Brett Hodgson kicking the conversion.
Wigan remain the league leaders despite the defeat, while Warrington increase the gap to fourth-placed Leeds Rhinos.
