St Helens have booked their place in the Super League playoff semi-finals with a 28-6 victory over Warrington Wolves at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.
The hosts took the lead after 22 minutes when Brett Hodgson converted his own try.
However, Saints hit back before half time thanks to scores from Iosia Soliola and Thomas Makinson.
Makinson kicked over the extras for both tries to put the visitors 12-6 ahead at the break.
The St Helens full-back touched down against just six minutes into the second half to extend his side's lead before James Roby's try was converted by Makinson to make the score 22-6.
It got worse for Warrington with 13 minutes to play as Francis Meli scored the Saints' fifth try of the match. Makinson stepped up again to kick the extras.
Despite the Wolves' defeat, they will have another chance of progressing next week when they meet the winner of the elimination playoff.
