Wigan Warriors coach Shaun Wane has said that Huddersfield Giants are "hot favourites" to win this evening's Super League playoff clash at the John Smith's Stadium.
Paul Anderson's side beat the Warriors twice on their way to clinching the leader's shield for the first time in their 81-year history this season.
"At this stage of the competition you are going to get a tough team and obviously with them being the league leaders and having beaten us twice, they're going to be the hot favourites," SuperLeague.co.uk quotes the 48-year-old as saying.
"I'm not surprised because I know the way Paul works. I've known him since he was a kid. He's a very intense, hard-working bloke and he's taken that into his coaching.
"I'm very pleased for him, especially with him being an English coach. He's showed people the way."
The winner of tonight's match gets a pass into the semi-finals, while the loser will get a second chance next week.
