Wigan Warriors survived a strong second-half performance from Castleford Tigers to register a 28-22 win in the Super League this afternoon.
First-half tries from Ben Flower, Pat Richards and Chris Tuson gave the visitors a 16-4 lead at the interval, Jake Webster adding the points for Tigers just before the break.
Michael McIlorum extended Wigan's advantage shortly after the re-start, while a try from Jamie Ellis started a fightback from the hosts.
Castleford dominated for much of the second period, allowing Justin Carney to score twice and level the scores with seven minutes remaining.
However, a second try from Tuson rescued the win for Warriors in the final minute of the game.
