Wigan Warriors produced one of their best displays of the season as they beat Catalans Dragons 42-16 in the Super 8s this aftenooon.
Ben Flower crashed over from short range early on to give Wigan a deserved lead, with Matt Bowen converting, before Catalans hit back through Krisnan Inu.
Scott Dureau added the conversion but Wigan regained their lead immediately, Bowen dancing through the defence to dot down. Bowen converted his own try before Louis Anderson was sent to the sin bin for the French side after lashing out with his foot in the tackle.
Dureau scored a nice solo effort just after half time to draw his side level. The half-back converted his own try before Bowen got Wigan back in front after hitting a hard line through the Dragons defence.
Bowen converted before doing so again after Oliver Gildart got on the end of a George Williams kick to dot down. Josh Charnley finished off a team move as Wigan turned on the style, before Larne Patrick also crossed the line three minutes later.
Bowen kicked both conversions before Jordan Sigismeau grabbed a try back for Catalans. Dureau missed the conversion but Bowen had no trouble adding two points to Dom Manfredi's try after the winger finished off a slick team effort.
The result leaves Wigan two points behind leaders Leeds Rhinos, who lost out to St Helens on Friday night, in the Super League table.
