Australia fly-half James O'Connor wants to keep his spot at number 10 for the second Test with the British and Irish Lions on Saturday.
The 22-year-old received criticism for his performance in the opening Test at the weekend, as he missed two key early penalties on the way to losing 23-21 to the tourists in Brisbane.
Despite being pushed for his place by Kurtley Beale, O'Connor believes that he deserves to start at fly-half once again.
"I'd like another crack at fly-half, 100%," O'Connor said. "I'm not too fazed about where I start, but I'd like another go there.
"You're always better for playing matches with the guys around you. We did some good things and let some things go.
"If we win I've done my job, if we haven't then I've got to go back to the drawing board."
The second Test takes place on Saturday.
