Bath Rugby head coach Mike Ford has hailed his side's "great achievement" of reaching the European Rugby Champions Cup quarter-finals.
The Aviva Premiership outfit secured their place in the last eight by beating Glasgow Warriors 20-15 at the Recreation Ground earlier today.
Bath required the help of Montpellier, who knocked out Pool Two favourites Toulouse in the afternoon's other fixture, meaning that Ford's charges will contest in the next round of European rugby's showpiece competition despite losing their first two games.
"It's a great achievement, especially when you have got the likes of Montpellier and Toulouse in your group," Ford told reporters.
"At the end of the day, this club wants to play in the big games, and the quarter-final of the Champions Cup away from home is going to be a huge game. It is our next step. We didn't play as best we can, but we found a way to win. Our forwards were very dominant"
Former double champions Leinster now await in the next round.
