Bath head coach Gary Gold has revealed that he is "proud" of his side as they beat Exeter Chiefs 23-15 at the Recreation Ground on Saturday.
Despite leading 15-5 at the break, the hosts held off a late fightback from the Chiefs to claim their fourth victory of the campaign.
"I'm very proud of the character we showed but not so much of certain aspects of the way we played in the second half, such as the penalty count," Gold said.
"We'll take that win against a team of that quality though. We've got massive respect for Exeter. They're one of the toughest opponents we've played this season."
Saturday's win has moved Bath above Exeter and up to sixth in the Aviva Premiership table.
