Alex Corbisiero has been called up to the British and Irish Lions squad as cover for Cian Healy, who picked up an injury in his side's 69-17 victory over Western Force.
Although it was revealed soon after the game that Healy had not broken his ankle, the Irishman has since been cited for an alleged bite on Western Force scrum-half Brett Sheehan, which could lead to him being suspended for further games.
Prop Corbisiero, who was on tour with the England squad in Argentina, has been drafted into the Lions squad as a replacement, much to the delight of England coach Stuart Lancaster.
"We're delighted for Alex," England coach Stuart Lancaster told ESPN.
"It's very pleasing for him after he missed the Six Nations through injury and he goes with our full support and blessing.
"All the England players and management couldn't be more pleased for him to get this opportunity."
The London Irish loosehead prop is expected to fly out from Salta, Argentina, later today.
