Two second-half penalties from Owen Farrell were enough to give Saracens a 23-17 win over Connacht in the Heineken Cup this evening.
The sides could not be separated in the first 40 minutes, as both added two tries and a penalty before half time.
The visitors edged ahead at the start of the second half through a Farrell penalty, before missing a drop goal with just over 10 minutes until full time.
However, the England international had another chance to extend the Aviva Premiership leaders' advantage with just six minutes left to play.
The home side pressed hard as they looked for a potentially match-winning try late on, but Saracens defended strongly to secure the victory.
