Connacht have started their European Rugby Challenge Cup campaign with an emphatic 48-12 bonus-point victory at home to French side Stade Rochelais.
The hosts were ruthless in the first half as tries from Jack Carty, Kieran Marmion, Robbie Henshaw and Ronan Loughney put them in firm control of the match.
Meanwhile, Craig Ronaldson converted all four scores as Connact went into the break with a commanding 29-0 advantage.
The visitors went over for their first try of the game at the start of the second half, but Connact fought back instantly as Ronaldson converted a second try for Henshaw.
Danie Poolman and Matt Healy then touched down for the home side midway through the second half, with Ian Porter adding the extras to Healy's score.
Stade Rochelais had the final say when they scored their second try of the evening, though it was not enough to stop Connact claiming a convincing victory.
