Edinburgh have been beaten for a fourth consecutive time in this season's Heineken Cup with a 15-3 defeat to Racing Metro at Murrayfield.
The win has seen Racing move to the top of Pool 1, while Edinburgh remain bottom.
Penalties from Olly Barkley and Gaeton Germain gave the visitors an early lead before Piers Francis got the hosts on the scoreboard midway through the first half.
However, the Edinburgh fly-half missed four further kicks on a wet and windy night in Scotland.
Germain kicked over again on 54 minutes and he added six more points with the boot just after the hour to put the result beyond doubt.
