Second-half tries from Dougie Fife and Roddy Grant helped Edinburgh secure a 24-6 victory over London Welsh in their European Challenge Cup Pool 4 encounter this afternoon.
The visiting Scots took a 9-3 lead into the break courtesy of the boot of Spaniard Sam Hidalgo-Clyne, who sent three penalties between the posts.
Edinburgh pressed home their advantage in the 57th minute when Fife went over for the contest's first try, although Hidalgo-Clyne missed with his subsequent conversion attempt.
However, when Grant scored a second try in the closing stages, Greig Tonks made no mistake with the conversion to extend the away team's winning margin to 18 points.
The win has kept Edinburgh top of their group, while London Welsh remain rooted to the bottom.
