Alex Goode has insisted that he will look to keep things simple if given the nod to start England's Autumn International clash with Fiji on Saturday.
The Saracens full-back could return to the Red Rose's XV at Twickenham in place of Mike Brown, as the hosts attempt to make it 11 wins out of 11 under Eddie Jones.
Goode, who has not been involved in a matchday squad since the Six Nations at the start of the year, believes that the key to impressing is to avoid taking any needless risks should he make the cut.
"You don't want to put too much pressure on yourself," he told BBC Sport. "You have to be quite structured, quite controlled, and make sure the team functions well. At full-back you can't be too reckless and loose."
England kicked off their autumn programme with a 37-21 victory over South Africa last weekend to maintain their perfect run under Jones.
