England backs coach Andy Farrell has tipped Sam Burgess to make a positive impact on his international debut against France.
The 26-year-old will win his first cap at Twickenham Stadium tomorrow, 10 months after swapping rugby league for rugby union.
There has been plenty of attention on Burgess ahead of his England bow, but Farrell is convinced that he will handle the situation with aplomb.
"He's an experienced player who's been in these situations before and he'll be fine," he told BBC Sport. "Obviously there's been a lot of attention surrounding him playing for his first cap.
"On the back of all the hype you would want a guy that's calm, who can just go out there and deal with what is the main thing and that's going out and playing the rugby that you want to play for your team."
Burgess joined Bath earlier this year following a four-season spell with South Sydney Rabbitohs.
