Toby Flood has described England's 19-9 defeat to Wales on Saturday as "embarrassing" and "shameful".
Martin Johnson's side failed to score a try at the Milennium Stadium in their penultimate World Cup warm-up fixture.
"I don't want to use the word embarrassing - but it is a little bit embarrassing," said the 26-year-old fly-half.
"It hurts, the fact we couldn't score a try. It is shameful. We can use harsh words because if you want to win a World Cup, tries are massive."
"I am not too fazed about the result. It is insignificant compared to the fact we haven't been able to score a try," he added.
England face Ireland in Dublin on Saturday, August 27 for their final warm-up match before heading out to New Zealand, where they take on Argentina in their first World Cup pool game on Saturday, September 10.
