England's Alex Corbisiero has been ruled out of the Six Nations following a knee operation.
The London Irish prop had a procedure on Wednesday to clear out a "loose body" from his knee, after which it was expected that he would be fit to return for the latter stages of the tournament.
However, according to Sky Sports News, further surgery has meant that the 24-year-old will miss the entire tournament, which gets underway this weekend.
England, who open their campaign against Scotland on Saturday, will also be without Manu Tuilagi, who has been ruled out of the opening match with an ankle injury.
