Harlequins scrum-half Karl Dickson has been called into the England squad as a replacement for his younger brother Lee, who fractured his a bone in his hand against Scotland yesterday.

The injury that has opened up the opportunity for Karl is likely to keep Lee sidelined for around four weeks.

Should Karl appear in England's next Six Nations match against Italy, it will be his first appearance on the international scene.

Karl joined Quins in 2009 from Bedford Blues.
