England head coach Stuart Lancaster is "confident" that Mike Brown will feature in next weekend's penultimate Six Nations clash against Scotland.
The 29-year-old was ruled out of last Sunday's 19-9 defeat to Ireland after suffering concussion against Italy.
"We're pretty confident about Mike," Lancaster told reporters. "He's had a reasonable amount of time now and certainly all the signs from everyone, including from Mike himself, is that he's back to 100%.
"He has to tick the final box and then I'm sure he'll be training on Friday. He has been symptom-free since last week."
England are currently second in the Six Nations table.
