Chris Robshaw: 'England are not haunted by 2013 Wales defeat'

Chris Robshaw insists that England are not haunted by the memories of their 2013 defeat to Wales.

Chris Robshaw has claimed that England are a different side to the one that suffered an emphatic defeat to Wales at the Millennium Stadium two years ago.

England return to Cardiff on Friday evening for the first time since losing 30-3, and Robshaw insists that he will be leading a team out that have learned from their disappointing performances as Stuart Lancaster's men get their Six Nations campaign underway.

"We are further down the road and have come a long way since that day," the England captain told reporters. "We have more experience now.

"Unfortunately in life you learn from your experiences - the good, the bad and the ugly. That was an ugly afternoon for us, and to have the biggest loss to Wales on your CV is not nice.

"Even when faced by adversity and different types of pressure, because we've been through that, we've got that experience and understanding of each other."

England's last defeat in Cardiff came as they went in search of the Grand Slam.
