Byron McGuigan declares that Exeter Chiefs will throw everything they have at Saracens and Sale Sharks in the final two games, as they look to land a playoff berth.

Exeter Chiefs full-back Byron McGuigan remains confident that his side can secure a place in the Aviva Premiership playoffs this season for the first time ever.

The Devon club find themselves one point adrift of fifth-placed Leicester Tigers in the league table, with just two games of the campaign left to go.

Despite almost pulling off a comeback against Wasps last weekend, the Chiefs fell to a narrow defeat which leaves them needing a positive result against Saracens in their next outing.

"It's time to throw the kitchen sink at things, especially these last two games," McGuigan told the Aviva Premiership's official website. "We certainly have the belief within the club and we can certainly take a lot from the second half on Sunday, so that's important.

"What we have to do is stay as positive as we can and look to get results from the last two games. The boys know we still have a chance of the semi-finals and if we get into them, anything can happen from there. We know what needs to be done, so we just have to keep pushing."

A last-gasp drop-goal by Gareth Steenson ensured that Exeter took a valuable losing bonus point from their trip to the Ricoh Arena.
