Exeter Chiefs have made it five consecutive wins in all competitions thanks to a 30-23 victory over London Wasps in the Aviva Premiership at Sandy Park.
Elliot Daly and Tom Varndell both touched down for the visitors in a pulsating opening 40 minutes, while Exeter replied with scores from Chris Whitehead and Haydn Thomas.
Gareth Steenson and Lee Thomas kicked an additional 10 points each for their sides as the teams went in 20-20 at the break.
Steenson scored his third penalty of the match with 52 minutes on the clock to edge Exeter back in front before Phil Dolman went over after the hour to extend their advantage.
Tommy Bell landed a late penalty for the visitors, but they ran out of time to force the draw.
