Six Nations Rugby Ltd has promised that a last-minute postponement similar to Saturday's at the Stade de France will never happen again.
France and Ireland were due to face off in Paris but pitch inspectors decided that the freezing conditions were unsafe for play.
Six Nations Rugby Ltd chief executive John Feehan said: "It has happened and we've got to look at how it happened and make sure it doesn't reoccur. We're going to have to revisit our procedures for calling a game off."
The fixture was today given a new date of March 4.
