Gloucester have completed the signing of British and Irish Lions hooker Richard Hibbard from Ospreys.

The Wales international had a year remaining on his contract with his former employers, but will join the Aviva Premiership side ahead of next season after the two clubs agreed a settlement for the final year of his current deal.

"Richard agreeing to join Gloucester Rugby next season is fantastic news. The news comes just days after the signing of former New Zealand World Cup-winner John Afoa.
