Gloucester Rugby have announced that flanker Tom Savage has put pen to paper on a new contract at the club.
The 23-year-old, who made 12 starts for the Aviva Premiership side last season, has committed the next three years of his career to the club.
"Tom's proof that you don't necessarily need to have been capped at U18 or U20 level, or come through an academy, to make it to first team level," said director of rugby Nigel Davies.
"He's got real talent but he allies that with hard work, a genuine desire to continually improve his game and a willingness to play wherever the team need him to.
"I can't speak highly enough of his attitude and his performances this season. He's become an integral part of the squad and his new contract is a reflection of that."
The news comes after captain Jim Hamilton announced his decision to leave the club.
