Sale Sharks director of rugby Steve Diamond has said that he is pleased with his team's performance, despite narrowly losing at Harlequins.
The side from the North-West scored two tries from Dan Braid and Sam James, but 11 points from the boot of Nick Evans proved decisive for the hosts.
However, Diamond has suggested that only one or two areas had let down the Sharks at The Stoop.
He told reporters: "We've got to be pleased with our performance but we just didn't get the end result.
"We know we're a competitive side but one or two little things let us down, which resulted in us not winning the game.
"The frustration is because by half-time we had all the ball. But fair play to Quins - they're a good side, and to get a bonus point from here, some people would be grateful for and I've got to be."
Sale have now picked up two wins and two defeats from their opening four games.
