Luke Wallace has admitted that he cannot wait to run out against London Irish this weekend in what will be his 100th appearance for Harlequins.

At the age of 24, the St Albans-born flanker will become just the 33rd player to reach the milestone at the club since the game turned professional 16 years ago.

Since joining the Quins' academy eight years ago, Wallace has gone on to make a real impact at Twickenham Stoop.

"It's great to have made 100 and to be the first guy in my year group to have got there is quite cool," he told the Aviva Premiership outfit's official website.

"I don't think many people expected that to be the case when you looked at us coming in from school. It was a big goal of mine and having achieved it, I am looking forward to keeping them coming."

Harlequins find themselves in ninth place in the league table ahead of their meeting with the Exiles.
