Leicester Tigers director of rugby Richard Cockerill has hit out at his players despite seeing them beat London Welsh 26-5.
The Tigers moved up to fifth place in the Aviva Premiership table on Sunday as they earned a bonus-point victory at the Kassam Stadium.
However, Cockerill believes that Leicester still have plenty to work on if they want to climb further up the standings and challenge for the playoffs.
"I'll take the five points as that's what we came for but we need to be better than that," he is quoted as saying by Sky Sports News.
"We've got to be a lot sharper as it was a pretty average performance for we kicked poorly and lacked composure. We eventually got a foothold in the game and class told but all credit to Welsh as they tackled well and made us struggle."
Leicester confirmed on Monday that former centre Aaron Mauger would be the club's new head coach from next season.
