Jamie Roberts has been ruled out of the Cardiff Blues' Heineken Cup clash with London Irish.
Roberts left the field during the Blues' 26-20 win over Racing Metro in Paris on Friday with a twisted knee.
Blues coach Justin Burnell confirmed that Roberts has received a scan on the injury and added that he should be fit when Wales take on Australia at the Millennium Stadium on December 3.
"Jamie twisted his knee in a tackle in Paris. He went for a scan yesterday and we are still waiting for the results but our physios are confident that there is nothing serious there, and he is running on it already," Burnell told the Press Association.
"He will not be fit for this week but he will be fit if he needs a game against Aironi next week and he is going to be fit for Wales."
The Blues are currently top of the Heineken Cup Pool 2 table.
