Bath full-back Tom Homer has admitted that he is "pretty excited" to be returning to the Madejski Stadium for the first time since leaving London Irish.
The 25-year-old left the Exiles to move to The Rec in February, and while Homer conceded that he has "fond memories" of his time in Reading, he is merely focused on delivering a victory for the visitors.
He is quoted by the Bath Chronicle as saying: "I'm pretty excited. Obviously it's the first time I'm going back to play against them and step into the away changing room.
"The Madejski is a pretty special place for me. I've got a lot of fond memories there.
"I'm excited just to play some rugby really, then catch up with some old mates, but you try not to get too emotional about it. It's another Premiership game and another chance for us to pick up points."
Bath go into the game in ninth place, while Irish are one of only two teams still to pick up a point.
