London Wasps director of rugby Dai Young has claimed that Saturday's record win over Viadana in the Amlin Challenge Cup should give his side some much-needed confidence.
Wasps ran in 11 tries at the Stadio Luigi Zaffanella as they earned a 90-17 victory over their Italian opponents.
Young now hopes that the result will boost the team's fortunes in the Aviva Premiership after a disappointing start to the season.
"This win will give the boys plenty of confidence and, in many ways, it was just what we needed," Sky Sports News quotes him as saying.
"There were some excellent individual performances but this was all about us achieving as a team and getting that confidence into our attacking game."
Wasps return to European action Thursday when they host Bayonne at Adams Park.
