A last-minute Dylan Hartley try has given Northampton Saints a 26-24 win over London Wasps in the Aviva Premiership this afternoon.
The visitors were able to dominate the opening spell after T Rhys Thomas was sent to the sin bin.
Saints were awarded a penalty try, and Lee Dickson was also able to breach Wasps' defence while the hosts were down to 14 men.
A try from Tom Varndell and two Stephen Jones penalties helped reduce the deficit for the home side, but Hartley secured a third try for Northampton just before half time.
After a quiet start to the second period from both sides, Wasps were awarded a penalty, allowing Jones to level the scores.
Two minutes later, Elliot Daly crossed the try line to put the hosts ahead for the first time in the match.
Wasps were reduced to 14 men with six minutes to play, as Ashley Johnson was sent to the sin bin, allowing Northampton the extra space to sent Hartley over for his second try of the day inside the final minute.
The win moves Saints up to third in the table, while Wasps remain sixth.
