New Zealand's Dan Carter says that he and his teammates are excited by the pressure that is on them at the upcoming World Cup.
The All Blacks are the host nation and firm favourites to win the tournament, but have fallen short since they last won the trophy in 1987.
"Every time you put on that All Black jersey there is always pressures and expectation from the people here in New Zealand," said Carter.
"Having something so special as the rugby World Cup here in New Zealand does add to the pressure and expectation and the fact we haven't won for so long adds to that but if anything the guys are more excited than worried about that."
The Kiwis kick off the World Cup on Friday in the opening match against Tonga.
