Newcastle Falcons prop Jonny Golding has revealed that he will retire from professional rugby at the end of the season.
The 30-year-old, who has made 133 appearances for the club, has also confirmed that he will "go into business" next year.
"I have had a good career which has spanned 13 years and I have enjoyed every minute of my time in the game," Golding told Falcons TV.
"It is a decision that I have not taken lightly, and it is one that I have taken my time over, talking to my wife and family.
"I am looking to go into business and it will be a good challenge for me. My family have been very supportive of what I am doing, but I am going to massively miss what I have been doing here at Kingston Park."
Golding has been at Newcastle for seven years.
