Richard Kahui has reportedly agreed a deal to sign for Japanese outfit Toshiba at the end of the season.
The 27-year-old, who has been a key player for the Chiefs in recent seasons, was part of the New Zealand team that won the World Cup in 2011.
"I love being a Chief, but it is no secret that I have had my fair share injuries which have forced me to make some very hard decisions about my future and make the most of the opportunities while I can," Kahui told the club's official site.
Kahui can play either as a centre or on the wing.
