England international Mike Tindall has rejoined Gloucester Rugby in a player/coach capacity.
The 33-year-old had been expected to sign for another club this summer after he failed to reach an agreement over a contract extension with Gloucester at the end of the Aviva Premiership season.
However, the club's new rugby director Nigel Davies has decided that Tindall's experience would be a useful asset both on and off the field of play.
As a result, the centre has been penned a one-year deal with the club.
Tindall originally signed on at the Kingsholm Stadium back in 2005 following an eight-year stint with Bath Rugby.
