James Craig warns his Northampton teammates that they should expect a difficult encounter away to London Irish on Saturday.

Northampton Saints forward James Craig has warned his teammates that they should expect a tough clash away to London Irish in the Aviva Premiership this weekend.

Irish head into the match on the back of an impressive 22-19 victory at Leicester Tigers last weekend, a result that pushed them up to sixth place in the standings.

Despite a strong start for Northampton that has seen the Saints win three out of four games, Craig believes that their opponents on Saturday will give them a stern test.

"London Irish have been playing some great rugby, defensively and attacking wise," he told the club's official website. "They're pretty good up front as well so we've got to be on that.

"To push Saracens close was a pretty decent effort from them and to beat Leicester is never easy no matter what's going on up there, so they're definitely going to be a threat this weekend."

Northampton's only defeat so far this season came away to London Wasps on September 16.
