Ken Pisi has insisted that the strength of Northampton Saints' wing department is "bringing the best" out of the squad.
The 25-year-old has started all six of his side's games this season, including yesterday's 43-10 victory over Sale Sharks which sent the Saints to the top of the Aviva Premiership table.
Jamie Elliot made his first start of the season at Franklin's Garden, while George North, Tom Collins and Howard Packman were among the backups.
"It's awesome, the depth, but it's a challenge as well. It brings out the best in us," Pisi is quoted as saying by the Northampton Chronicle.
"We've got George North and Jamie Elliott, but also Tom Collins, Packman and Skelcey. It's always a challenge and it's bringing the best out of all of us. I'm just trying to improve, take each game as it comes and there's always room for improvement."
Northampton return to action next weekend when they take on Racing Metro in their opening European game of the season.
